I certainly hear the similarities. “Arabian Dance” doesn’t sound out of season to me. It isn’t overly christmas-like. AD does feel a bit sad though. The clarinet + oboe combination in a minor key with subtle violin cues in the background probably does that.

In “Innocence” there are really similar sounds and themes, and note progressions as in the “Arabian Dance” from The Nutcracker suite by Tchaikovsky. If you take out the mandolin on “Innocence,” you can hear how they are really alike – to me, at least.
I know it’s not the season for it, but it really does sound like the “Arabian Dance” to me – that’s what came to my mind first.

I do like Cirque du Soleil. they have really interesting Music and Performances.
