“Apres Moi”

This isn’t the first time I’ve featured a Regina Spektor song. I had a talk with a buddy of mine yesterday who mentioned Regina. It served as inspiration for today’s posting of this song, “Apres Moi”. Her classical training really burns through this song. I can’t get enough.

    i don’t like the throat thing she does with her voice between some of the words….

    I *throatgag* must *throatgag* go on standing….. but other than that, it’s a great song.

    Jason, you sent this to me a long time ago and I have it in my playlist titled, “Groove ‘Box’: Chick singers”

    I think that’s called a “percussive vocal element” but *throatgag* works, if you want to call it that.

    haha…percussive vocal element. Regina is kinda weird anyways. You either dig her style or you don’t.
