“Maybe Sparrow”

What you hear is what you get with Neko Case. I saw her perform at the Granada in Dallas, TX last year and her performance was great. This music falls under country, but there’s so much more to it than just country. “Alt country” doesn’t do it justice either.

Neko is a self-made gal. She ran away from home when she was 15 and started a punk band. She moved over into a more twangy sound after that with a band called “the weasles”.

She calls her backing band “the boyfriends”.
